**RPL Library Director Position**

Reform Public Library is currently accepting applications for the position of Library Director.  For additional information, call 334-389-7667.  

Requirements for the position include but are not limited to:  a degree in a library related field, experience in a public library setting, working knowledge of computer programs such as automated library circulation systems, Microsoft Office applications, and Quicken/Quick Books bookkeeping programs.

This is a highly responsible position offered by the City of Reform under the supervision of the Reform Public Library Board of Directors.  There is a one year probationary period from the date of hire after which permanent employment will be assessed.  Hiring wage is $11 per hour for 32 hours per week and benefits.

Library Cards -- Individuals may obtain borrowing privileges by contacting library staff.  Books may be checked out for a period of 2 weeks.  DVD’s and audio books may be checked out for a period of 1 week.  Overdue books carry a fine of 10 cents per day and overdue DVD’s and audio books carry a fine of $1.00 per day.

Computers -- Our library has 7 computer stations available for public use.  Users must be 16 years old or older to use computers unsupervised.  All users must sign a computer agreement form before use.  Children must have forms signed by a parent or legal guardian.

Computer Printing & Copy Service- Patrons may make black and white photocopies for $1.00 per page.  Color photocopies are $2.00 per page. 

Fax Service-Patrons may send or receive documents for $3.00 per page.
